What the Extension Does

Vamo reads LinkedIn profile URLs to identify the developer profile being viewed and displays their public GitHub activity. LinkedIn vanity URLs are sent to our API solely to resolve the corresponding GitHub profile.

Data We Process

LinkedIn profile vanity URLs (e.g. /in/username) — sent to our API to look up the corresponding GitHub profile.

Data Stored Locally

Cached API responses (GitHub contribution data) are stored locally in your browser for up to 1 hour to reduce network requests and improve performance.

What We Do Not Do

We do not collect, store, or share any personal information.

We do not track your browsing activity.

We do not include any analytics or tracking in the extension.

We do not sell or transfer user data to third parties.

Bot Protection

The extension uses Cloudflare Turnstile to protect our API from automated abuse. This runs in an isolated context within the extension and does not collect any user data.
