How we use Gmail APIs
Vamo is a recruiting and talent search platform that uses Gmail APIs for approved productivity
enhancement purposes. Our use case falls under Google's approved category of "Applications
that enhance the email experience for productivity purposes (such as applications for customer
relationship management, delayed sending of email or mail merge)." Specifically, we use Gmail
access to:
Email Sequence Management: Send personalized outreach emails to candidates and manage recruitment email campaigns on your behalf
Email Template Processing: Help you create and customize recruitment email templates for candidate outreach
Recruitment Communication: Facilitate communication between recruiters and candidates through our platform's email features
Email Status Tracking: Monitor the delivery status of recruitment emails to improve communication effectiveness
Vamo only accesses Gmail data that is necessary for our recruiting platform features:
Email sending capabilities to send recruitment messages
Basic email metadata for tracking delivery status
Email template and draft management for recruitment campaigns
In strict compliance with Google's Limited Use requirements, we explicitly do not:
Use your Gmail data to train, improve, or operate any artificial intelligence or machine learning models
Read, scan, or analyze the content of your existing emails
Store copies of your email messages on our servers
Sell, transfer, or share your Gmail data with advertising platforms, data brokers, or other third parties
Use your Gmail data for advertising, retargeting, or personalized ads
Access Gmail functionality unrelated to our recruiting features

We do not use Gmail APIs for any prohibited purposes, including but not limited to:
Mobile keyboards or input methods
One-time or manual email export tools
Storing non-email data in Gmail
Circumventing Gmail limitations or abuse restrictions
Spam or unsolicited commercial mail distribution
